Christmas Postcard

I've been wanting to color this for awhile.  The Stampin' Up Christmas Postcard image just needed a little cut out prior to stamping.  I used the Cricut Lite Lacy Labels cartridge (Nouveau) and Copics for coloring.  It still needed something else so I traced around the letters with my Gelly Roll Clear Star pen.

Butterfly Cards

My daughter and son-in-law's birthdays were coming up and she does scrapbooking and cardmaking also.  I found the most beautiful butterfly stamp (Inkadinkado Mindscapes) for her and I had to have it too.  Both cards are embossed.  The first one uses silver embossing powder.  Of course, I had to have some bling on them.

Joy Christmas Card

I've been working on this one for a couple of evenings.  It uses Glitter Ritz Transparent Micro Fine Glitter (Cool Highlight).  I painted the ornaments using Copics (Ocean Green, Cardinal, Lemon Yellow, and Cool Grey No. 4).  The papers are from PaperWishes.  The ornaments are Peel-off stickers from Elizabeth Craft Designs.  I really need to learn to take pictures that show the bling better, rather than scanning the cards.

Graphic 45 Christmas Past

I was going through all my old cardstock and came across a graphic 45 Christmas Past Collection.  I used the card-sized girls with doll and cut out the Greeting on the Santa Claus image.  The ribbon is from Stampin Up and the bling on the greeting and ribbon is generic plastic crystals.  The frame is up from the girls' image using small mounting squares.

Christmas Tree

This card used CheeryLynn O Tannenbaum X-mas Tree using gold cardstock.  I used Stampendous red holographic dots for the bling and the Joy is from Paperwishes Dazzles.  The red background paper is from the Memory Box Spiceberry collection.

Anniversary Card

It's that time of year again.  It's been 36 years and I found a great way to show it on the card.  I used The Timeless Type Stack by DCWV and the numbers from Jim Holtz idea-ology - Salvage Stickers.  The doily was originally white but I used my Black Copics to color it.  The bronze button-like pieces are from Momenta.

Christmas Doily

I can't remember whose design this is but, please contact me if it was yours, so I can give you credit.  It is a wonderful doily design and the card, with Memory Box Christmas papers, turned out great!

The sentiment in the middle is from Stampin Up.  The doily was colored with Copics to give it more dimension.

Christmas Bell Card

I used a lot of different techniques and companies for this one.  The bell is the Cheery Lynn Designs Bow and Bell.  The greenery is a Tim Holtz Alterations Festive Greenery die.  The embossed red background is a Stampin Up embossing folder.  The glitter is Glitter Ritz Micro Fine Glitter.  It's never too soon to have bling and Christmas. It's really a shame you can't see the glitter.  It makes the card.  Oh yeah, I forgot to add the Flower-soft stickers on the edge of the gold background paper, which you can't see very well but they are there.

Wild Card Thanks

I wanted to use the Cricut Wild Card cartridge and this Tag card just jumped out at me.  I used Stampin up paper and Jolee crystals.  The default size for the image is 3 inches.  I set it for 5 inches so it could be sent in a small envelope.

Christmas in July

It's that time again.  I need to make more Christmas Cards.

I bought a lovely Impression Obsession Seasons Greetings Mailbox stamp and wanted to color it using my Copics.  It has Jolee's Flat Back Crystals on the wreath and uses a Stampin up ribbon accent.

Steampunk and Father's Day Card

Turns out both my husband and I enjoy Steampunk so .... I created my first steampunk card for his Father's Day card.  I used HOTP printed paper and Dazzles.  I'm very pleased with the effort.

Stampin Up Thank You Cards

I created two new cards using the Stampin Up Pre-made Cards and Stampin Up Stamps.  They turned out very elegant.  Each one has some bling, of course.

Christmas Cards - Never too early!

More Ritz Micro-fine Glitter.  It's never too early to start on Christmas Cards.  Both of these were done using translucent glitter and Copics for coloring and shading.  What you can't see is the beautiful shine and glitter; and the outline of the Clear Star Jelly Role Pen.

Using Micro Fine Glitter

I really like using Micro Fine Glitter.  Both effects, color and Copics, are fun to work with.

Three Cards Same Stamp

I wanted to see how the same stamp would work with three different card designs.  You can't see the crystals on the teal card or the dew drops on the blue card or the glitter on the apricot card, but they are there.

Valentine's Day Card

Valentine's Day sort of crept up on us and I had to scramble to come up with a card for my spouse.  I used a Cricut and Stampin' Up.
